This Privacy Policy explains what information Badger Iron ("we," "us") collects when you visit badgeriron.com or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
- Order & contact information you provide when purchasing a print: name, email address, shipping address, and order details.
- Payment information entered at checkout. Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data collected automatically when you browse the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, via standard web logs and analytics.
- Session activity. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with the site — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — and can replay those sessions to help us understand how the catalogue is used. Clarity masks text input by default; we do not use it to capture anything you type.
These tools set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. They are used to measure how the site is used, not to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your print orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud and to comply with legal obligations.
- To improve our website and product offering.
Who we share it with, and how
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only the data required for their function:
- Stripe — payment processing. Card and billing data is transmitted securely to Stripe over encrypted connections. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Prodigi — print production and fulfillment. We share your name, shipping address, and the ordered item so your print can be produced and mailed to you.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
- Legal authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we safeguard your information
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor, and is never stored on our servers. Access to order data is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers on a need-to-know basis.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@badgeriron.com. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
